Who we are

The service

Todayworks is software for UK site documentation: diary entries, photos, snags, forms, toolbox talks, and PDF exports. It is not quoting, invoicing, payroll, dispatch, or fleet management.

The phone is the source of truth. We copy your company record to AWS (London) when sync runs. See our Privacy page for what we store.

Accounts and access

One login belongs to one company at a time. The owner and managers control who is invited and when access ends. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what your team logs on site.

Do not use Todayworks for unlawful content, harassment, or attempts to break the service. We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform or put other customers at risk.

Plans, trials, and payment

Paid plans are monthly or annual subscriptions billed through Stripe. Prices on the Pricing page are in GBP. Annual is twelve months for the price of ten on the base plan (One, Duo, Crew, and Team). We are not VAT registered — the price you see is the price you pay.

Signup starts on One with a fourteen-day trial. Duo has a seven-day trial. Those trials apply if you choose annual as well as monthly. Card is collected at Stripe Checkout when you start a trial — you are not charged until the trial ends. If the trial was on an annual price, the charge when it ends is the yearly amount, not one month. Crew and Team have no trial: checkout charges the period you picked. Extra 10 GB storage, an extra person, or an extra active site can be added from Plans & billing on an active subscription. Those add-ons are not included in the two months free. On an annual subscription they are billed yearly at twelve times the monthly add-on rate.

Cancel from Company → Plans & billing → Stripe portal. If you cancel a paid subscription, write access continues until the end of the paid period (the month, or the year if you paid annually), then the account goes read-only. If the trial ends or payment fails, the account is read-only until payment is sorted. We do not refund unused time on a monthly or annual plan unless required by law.

Your data

You own the site records you create. We need a licence to host, sync, and back them up so the product works. You grant us that licence while you use the service.

Export what you need from the app (PDF packs, dispute exports). Email us if you want an account closed or data removed after cancellation.

Availability and liability

We build for offline-first capture and reliable sync, but no online service is perfect. Keep logging on the phone; do not rely on sync alone as your only backup during an outage.

Todayworks is provided as-is to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for lost profits, disputes on site, or indirect loss. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms or pricing with notice on the site or by email for material changes. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the update.
